Overall, Paint.NET can be considered a tool intermediate between Photoshop and Paint that provides more tools than paint without reaching Photoshop's level while being free to use. It also offers the option to capture an image directly from cameras or scanners connected to the PC without an intermediary program's usage. We can access tools using both mouse or keyboard shortcuts to accelerate processes.
